HMS Martin (1821) (8th)

This the eighth ship to carry the name HMS Martin was an
18-gun, sloop. Built at Portsmouth Dockyard, launched 18-May-1821, 108ft 6in long, 29ft wide and of 461 tons builders measurement. Armed with 18 x 32pdr carronades and 2 x 6pdr guns. Lost and presumed foundered Feb-1826 off the Cape of Good Hope with loss of all 150 crew.
