This the seventh ship to carry the name HMS Greyhound was a sixth rate, 20-gun, ship.

Built at Woolwich Dockyard, launched 21-Jun-1712, 94ft long, 26ft wide and of 276 tons builders measurement.

Captured 01-Sep-1718 by the Spanish in St Jermyn's Bay.
