HMS E22 (1915) SS  (1st)

    
This the only ship to carry the name HMS E22 was an E Class (1913) submarine.

Built by Vickers of Barrow-in-Furness, launched 24-Jul-1915.

Also carried two seaplanes on a platform constructed on the hull aft of the conning tower.

Torpedoed and sunk by UB-18 in the North Sea off Great Yarmouth 25-Apr-1916.
