This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Cormorant was an 18-gun, sloop.

Built by Randall of Rotherhithe, 108ft long, 30ft wide and of 427 tons builders measurement.

Blown up by accident 24-Dec-1796 at Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
