This the seventh ship to carry the name HMS Challenger was a
diving vessel. Built by Scotts of Greenock, launched 19-May-1981, 440ft long, 59ft wide and displacing 6,400 tons. Paid off 30-Nov-1990 and sold 02-Jul-1993.
