This the first ship to carry the name HMS Carron was a sixth rate, 20-gun, ship.

Built by Adams of Buckler's Hard, launched 09-Nov-1813, 116ft long, 30ft wide and of 460 tons builders measurement. Armed with 18 x 32pdr carronades and 2 x 9pdr guns.

Wrecked 06-Jul-1820 near Puri, India.
