This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Bideford was a
sixth rate, 20-gun, ship. Built at Deptford Dockyard, launched 02-Mar-1756, 105ft long, 29ft 6in wide and of 403 tons builders measurement. Wrecked 30-Dec-1761 at Flamborough Head.
