Description This boat service action took place in the Hollands Diep, Holland about 30 miles east of Helvoetsluys.

A detachment from HMS Syren landed and attacked French forts which had been constructed to bombard Williamstadt, a fortress located the small island. Their fire drove the French from their strong points and later that day Dutch troops occupied the positions abandoned by the French.
